This year’s performances include the comedic play β€œOne Man, Two Guvnors,” the traditional "A Grand Night for Singing" concert, modern jazz, and traditional orchestral arrangements. and be transported to a world of joy, beauty, and imagination!

Jan. 28, 2025: Music Faculty Showcase

Experience an inspiring evening of live music at the Faculty Music Recital, showcasing the talented ΝΓΧΣΟΘΙϊ faculty musicians in captivating solo performances and engaging collaborations. This special event will highlight a diverse repertoire and the artistic mastery of the faculty members.

This performance will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at in Fort Smith. Admission is free, but you must have a ticket to attend.

 


 
 
 


March 13-15, 2025:  One Man, Two Guvnors

Get ready for an uproarious night of comedy with Richard Bean’s smash hit play, One Man, Two Guvnors β€” a modern twist on Carlo Goldoni’s classic The Servant of Two Masters. This fast-paced farce follows Francis Henshall, a perpetually hungry man who finds himself in the absurd predicament of serving two bosses at once. Chaos, clever wit, and slapstick hilarity abound in this crowd-pleasing comedy!

This performance will take place nightly at 7 p.m. March 13-15 at on the ΝΓΧΣΟΘΙϊ campus. General admission tickets are just $10. Admission is free for ΝΓΧΣΟΘΙϊ students, faculty, staff, and members of the 60+ club.



April 8, 2025:  Wind Ensemble

Experience the power and precision of the ΝΓΧΣΟΘΙϊ Wind Ensemble as our talented student musicians take the stage for an exhilarating performance. This concert will present an exciting repertoire that spans a range of styles from dynamic contemporary pieces to beloved wind band classics. Under the direction of Dr. Alexandra Zacharella and featuring solo clarinetist Dr. Andrew DeBoer, the ensemble will showcase its artistry during an evening filled with energy, emotion, and exceptional music.

The performance will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at in downtown Fort Smith. Admission is free, but tickets are required.

April 15, 2025:  Jazz Catz

Get ready to groove with the ΝΓΧΣΟΘΙϊ Jazz Catz! This high-energy ensemble brings the best of jazz to life with smooth rhythms, swinging melodies, and incredible talent.  Whether you're a jazz enthusiast or just love live music, the Jazz Catz will have you tapping your feet all night long. Don’t miss out β€” experience the excitement of ΝΓΧΣΟΘΙϊ jazz!

This concert will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at . Admission is free, but a ticket is required to attend. 

 

April 17, 2025: Jazz Band

Feel the rhythm with the ΝΓΧΣΟΘΙϊ Jazz Band! Under the direction of Dr. David Tyson, this talented group of student musicians delivers a powerful mix of jazz standards and modern favorites, guaranteed to get you swinging.  From smooth ballads to upbeat grooves, the ΝΓΧΣΟΘΙϊ Jazz Band brings energy and excitement to every performance. Don’t miss the chance to hear them live!
 
This performance will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, at  Admission is free, but a ticket is required to attend.

 

April 22, 2025: A Grand Night for Singing

A grand Night for Singing is the finale of choral singing at ΝΓΧΣΟΘΙϊ for the 2024-2025 concert season. Featuring ΝΓΧΣΟΘΙϊ's combined vocal ensembles under the direction of Dr. Timothy Workman, this performance is designed to be a celebration of choral singing in all its forms. You will hear a diverse collection of music from contemporary choral favorites to modern pop tunes and musical theatre numbers. Don't miss an evening of memorable tunes created by unified voices.
 
This performance will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2025, at at in downtown Fort Smith. Admission is free, but tickets are required.
 

April 28, 2025:  Orchestra

The ΝΓΧΣΟΘΙϊ student orchestra takes the stage for a night of unforgettable music. Enjoy a rich and varied program directed by Karen Jeter and performed by the ΝΓΧΣΟΘΙϊ's rising musicians, who will bring an array of orchestral works to life.
